Ventures is part of the Leeds Learning Disability Directorate offering a range of health activities, including specialised assessments and intervention packages that are not available within mainstream services.
Ventures can only be accessed through the single point of referral. The service user will have a complex and/or multiple health need or challenging behaviour need which will require specialist learning disability therapeutic input to promote healthy lifestyles, maintenance or improvement in health status.

Ventures have developed a community activity database to support carers/family members/health professionals with information regarding activities that are available for people with Learning Disabilities across Leeds.
The data base acts as a quick reference guide for people to have information at their fingertips of which you can filter under preferences re: day, activity, location etc.

To open the database:
Click the Navigation pane on the left
Click on the arrow then double click Resource table and form.
How to search for information:
To use the filter system:
Click the triangle at the top of the column of your choice to open each selection activity, day address etc.
Deselect all then by ticking select all as all are automatically selected
Then tick your sections individually (you can select as many or as few as you want)
Repeat this process under each choice you want to filter
